Qualify in the Physical Measurements

The candidates who qualify in the physical measurements for the post
of Police Constable Driver (Grade-Ill) in Goa Police Department will be subjected to the
Written Examination of the Trade of 100 marks for 02 hours duration on the below mentioned
subject:-

1. Vehicle rules and regulations
2. Motor Vehicle Act
3. Vehicle Mechanisms
   1. Working of Petrol Engine
   2. Worklng of Diesel Engine
   3. Working of Clutch
   4. Working of Gear Box
   5. Working of Transmission system
   6. Working of Differential and Final Drive
   7. Working of vehicle AC
   8. Working of Engine Cooling system
   9. Working of Engine Lubrication system
   10. Working of Steering system
   11. Working of Breaking system
   12. Working of Electrical system, Starter Motor, Alternator and Battery.

4. Responsibilities and duties of driver.
5. Road Signals, Traffic Signals and General RTO Rules.
6. General Maintenance practices for vehicles.

Age Limit :

Candidates Should be 18 to 25 years as on the closing date for receipt of Application Forms i.e. 30.04.2021. (Bom between 01.05.1999 and 30.04.2003 both dates inclusive) (Relaxable for Government servants up to the age of 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government)

Pay Scale :

Pay Matrix Level – 2 Rs. 19900 – 63200

Education Qualification :

Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification.

The prescribed Application Forms are available at the Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Altinho, Panaji-Goa, Porvorim Police Station, Mapusa Police Station, Pernem Police Station, Bicholim Police Station, Valpoi Police Station, Collem Police Station, Ponda Police Station, Sanguem Police Station, Curchorem Police Station, Quepem Police Station, Canacona Police Station, Margao Town Police Station and Vasco Police Station which can be collected between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours on all days except Sunday. Also, the Application Form can be downloaded from the Goa Police Website and Government of Goa Portal. The Application Form shall be downloaded on a single page (front and back).
